On Thursday afternoon, a motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center following a serious collision with a delivery van on N.C. 211, just outside Aberdeen. The incident unfolded around 12:45 p.m. when the van attempted a left turn near Premier Technology, inadvertently leading to the crash.

The driver of the white delivery van, navigating a line of cars in a no-passing zone, reported that a motorcyclist, riding a Suzuki, attempted to overtake the vehicles as she commenced her turn.
Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, including Aberdeen Police, Moore County EMS, and the Aberdeen Fire and Rescue teams. Following an immediate assessment, air care was requested, illustrating the severity of the motorcyclist’s injuries.
